The L’itinérante guest house welcomes you to Somail in Aude. This charming hamlet, listed as a World Heritage Site, borders the Canal du Midi, between the beaches of the Narbonne coast and the small mountainous reliefs of the Minervois known for its vineyards, sometimes cultivated organically. We chose this small port on the Canal du Midi to settle in and recently renovate this old house crumbling under the weight of time.


Housing

We offer 3 bedrooms, each furnished with a queen size bed (160) and a shower room with WC, each for two people.

We serve an organic and globally local breakfast. Homemade jams, from Minervois or Roussillon, breads from the Azillanet organic Fournil, homemade cake, cereals ...


Passenger access

The Itinerant is a completely redesigned stone house with healthy and sustainable materials such as lime, earth, wood, cork and natural paints and oils.

Our little family lives in part of the house while a wing (the other half of the house) is dedicated to guests: living room, dining room, kitchen and private patio with access to the garden and view of the vineyard that s' extends to the canal. From the garden we can see the barges passing by which seem to float in the distance along the vineyards towards Toulouse or Sète.
